Nick Cave was roasting Greenwood of Radiohead while on stage

Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds held an emotional performance at the O2 Arena in London on November 9, creating an unforgettable moment from the tour promoting the acclaimed album Wild God. Among the musical performances, there was also a fun moment that elicited laughter and satisfaction from the audience - something you wouldn't expect to happen at a Nick Cave concert. Or a Bad Seeds one.

The Bad Seeds tour this fall includes several performances in London, and at the second concert, Cave didn't miss out on the chance to joke with his bandmates, specifically Radiohead bassist Colin Greenwood, who replaced the OG bassist Martyn Casey. After a few songs, Cave took a break to tease a fan in the front row wearing a "terrible Radiohead shirt," as Cave called it. To make the moment more intense, he continued: "What's even worse, you have a Bjork t-shirt underneath it!" This statement by Cave was followed by laughter from the band, and the frontman quickly added: "We love them both, don't we, Colin? We stole Colin."

The audience was applauding, and Greenwood, who has been a long-time member of the band, simply smiled. However, Cave didn't stop there. During the performance of one of their most famous songs, "Red Right Hand," Cave returned to the fans in the front row and, looking at the same person wearing an "In Rainbows" jacket, reworked the lyrics with the words: "Do you want another nasty t-shirt? Colin will buy you one."

This humorous moment was just part of a passionate and emotional evening, which also had many musical highlights. Performances of songs like "Wild God" and "Jubilee Street" showcased the power and depth of the new material, while songs like "White Elephant" and "Carnage" added richness to the performance. A particularly touching moment was dedicated to the band's former collaborator, the late Anita Lane, with the song "O Wow O Wow (How Wonderful She Is)."
