From Foundation to International Success
"Trio Aperto" was founded in 2018, initiated by violinist Marina Trajkovska, a longtime member of the Macedonian Philharmonic. Since its establishment, the trio has been dedicated to the development and promotion of chamber music in Macedonia, especially works by Macedonian composers. With a vision to enrich the Macedonian music scene and encourage composers to create for such chamber ensembles, they have attracted attention on the international stage with performances in cultural centers in Istanbul and Tirana.
A Program Connecting Classical and Contemporary
At the concert in Salon 19:19, "Trio Aperto" will perform a carefully curated program that blends traditional and contemporary tones. The program includes classical pieces such as Vivaldi's Concerto op.3 no.8 and Dvořák's "Humoresque," alongside modern Macedonian compositions like "Ovčepolje Suite" by Blagoja Canev. A special highlight is the piece "Suite for Two Violins and Piano" by Ante B. K., emphasizing the authentic chamber sound. The concert will conclude with Dmitri Shostakovich's "Five Pieces," promising an exciting combination of tenderness and drama.
Supporting the Youth and Macedonian Musical Creativity
One of the key missions of "Trio Aperto" is to promote Macedonian music and engage in educating the youngest audience. By organizing educational concerts for children of preschool and school age, they aim to bring classical music closer to younger generations, while fostering the development of the cultural scene in the country.
The concert on November 15th is a special opportunity for all classical music lovers to experience an evening filled with art, emotions, and high-quality performance. The event promises an evening where Macedonian and world musical traditions will merge into an exceptional musical mosaic.
