A performance of ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE in Vevchani this September;

"Abandoned Places" is a metaphor for the untapped potential of spaces and cultural heritage, places full of memories, metamorphoses, new perceptions, regeneration, mystery, rebellion, and oppression. The performance guides the audience through the rooms of the Cultural Center, exploring personal stories, vulnerable states, and memories that may have happened to you too.

The performance takes us back to the past and forward to an alternative future, where the characters dream of being. The entire space is created according to the protagonist's inner world and her thoughts, revealing long-forgotten personal rituals, oppressions, and promises. The more aware the character becomes, the stronger her need to break free from the structures created for her, which she did not create herself. She begins to recognize the code of behavior that has been passed down from mother to daughter for centuries.

The main character is freed from the burden of the struggle for a place in history, learning how to be a human, authentic in her own assessment, desires, and ways of fulfilling life, always aware of what she leaves behind. She is wise, a warrior, a girl, a trapped being, a mother, a daughter; she is a healer and a singer; she is lazy and hardworking; she is everything and everywhere, and can be nothing and nowhere.

This experimental theatrical performance is the result of a creative collaborative process between the actors and the playwright. It will take you on a personal inner journey and deep immersion.
